Complete fitting kit: side mounts included. This frame comes with its own side mounts, so any side mount bucket seat bolts straight to it. You only need the seat and the frame, with no separate side mounts to buy.
The Nissan 350Z brought affordable rear-wheel-drive sports performance to a generation of UK drivers who had been watching supercars through a fence. The Z33 chassis, built from 2002 to 2009, carries the VQ35DE 3.5-litre V6 in a layout that rewards committed driving but punishes a driver who is moving around in the seat. That is why the standard seats are among the first things to go.
Steel frame, powder coated black.
These are the M2 Motorsport direct fit sub-frames for the Nissan 350Z, part number M2-20773-0000. They replace the factory runners and bolt to the OEM floor mounting points, so no drilling is needed. Each frame is steel, powder coated black, and carries the 290mm side-mounted captive holes that are the industry standard spacing for bucket seats. Choose your side at the top of the page: driver or passenger, base mount or side mount.
The 290mm spacing covers a wide spread of seats: Bride, Cobra, Corbeau, Recaro, OMP, Sparco, Takata, MOMO, D2, Buddyclub and others all use this pitch. If your seat has under-seat (base mount) holes rather than side holes, you will need the M2 adaption bars alongside this frame.
One thing to confirm before you order: the 350Z has a standard fixed-floor layout with four OEM bolt points, and the M2 frame fits all variants from the Z33 facelift through to the 350Z Roadster, but the Nismo road car does not differ on floor mounting. Track versions with factory roll cage reinforcements are a separate question, so call us if yours has been modified.
After fitting, sit in the car and check where the seat belt buckle lands before driving it. The lower seating position that a bucket frame gives tends to move the buckle anchor higher relative to your hip, which is usually an improvement, but it is worth confirming before you are on the road.
If you are fitting both seats, the 2 x M2 Nissan 350Z Direct Fit Sub-frames listing covers the pair in one purchase.
If you want to confirm fitment for your specific car before ordering, call us or use the contact page and we will confirm fitment and give you the current lead time before you order.
